Evangelistic meetings spread the Good News
25 years celebrated for the Grande Chorale d’Église Wesleyenne Smyrne Cité Chauvel, the choir that generated the annual mission, each time in a different area, to reach people for Christ. Hand to Hand for Haiti has been a part of this mission for several years. Micheline Michel led the VBS training and taught at the women’s conference. Joseph Michel preached and taught pastors and youth. He was a featured speaker at at least one evangelistic meeting. (See poster below.)
Haiti is going through challenging times, but Joseph and Micheline found that God’s people are bringing hope where criminal leaders have brought fear and chaos. VBS leaders are making good use of Micheline’s training. Children were excited to come to VBS, get a meal and learn about God’s love. Joseph met dynamic young people who are stepping up to lead their generation. A trade school is about to open in St. Marc, and Hand to Hand for Haiti collected a shipping container loaded with goods for this and other ministries. The mission continues to bear fruit as pastors meet online and in person to support one another. People who are new in their relationship with Christ are receiving some support with basic needs along with literacy and Bible training.
Thank you for your support that makes this possible!
